Speed and consistent quality are just two of the many advantages of choosing a modular home. On the average, a home consisting of 2 modules will be factory produced in just less than 2 weeks. The home can have cabinets, flooring, most plumbing, most fixtures and a good deal of the drywall finished at the factory. The home is then transported to the site and placed permanently on the foundation (basement or crawlspace). The final on-site completion includes the connection of utilities, HVAC, drywall finishing, carpet seaming and final finishing touches. Completion time varies with the size and details of the home.
Modular homes are not only built to the same code as site-built homes but they are assembled in a controlled environment with no wind, rain or snow to damage the homes structure while it is being built.
